Along with being a mom, wife, real estate agent, crafter, shopper, hobby enthusiast, home maker, scrap booker, and a new one that I am trying to add...cyclist. I enjoy being busy and creative. I get distracted so easily but love every minute of it.
My number one passion is my kids. I recently quit my 10 year career in account management to be a stay at home mom. I love when they are out of school for the summer, we play hard! Two boys; nine and five... testosteroneville!
My passion for all of the other stuff is usually done late at night, in the wee hours of the morning and periodically throughout the day sometimes. Insomnia is my blessing I guess you could say. When my kids are involved in my hobby land, we make it fun...yes even the shopping part.
My furniture hobby hatched when I decided that I wanted something unique and different in my entryway. I struggled finding that perfect piece. So I decided to perform an operation and connected a coffee table and dresser together.
Well, it is like potato chips, you can't just have one. Once this one was born, I decided to make another one. I have made several now and have really enjoyed changing my entry way so frequently. As you can imagine with such large piece of furniture, storage was an issue. So a new hobby was born...sell it!
It gives me an excuse to keep buying and crafting guilt free : ) I also have a lot of new friends at Lowes!
I really enjoy my life and family. My husband is amazing and very supportive. Sometimes I joke that every time I get a receipt from Lowes or the craft store etc. that it is divorce papers. Sometimes I think "this time for sure he is going to throw me out the door"...but, he doesn't...he is patient, sweet and helpful...I'm lucky!
